Does my tenant have to complete a new Housing Benefit claim form every time they move?

Your tenant must complete a new application form for Housing Benefit every time he or she moves, even if this is between flats or rooms within the same building. However if there is no break in their claim they only need to complete the Change of Circumstances claim form not the full one.

Housing Benefit is only payable for your tenant's current home and ceases when he or she moves.
