Moving House

If you are moving out from a property in Carlisle City Council's area you should let us know so that we can make the necessary adjustments to your bill.

If you are moving in to a property in Carlisle City Council's area you should let us know as soon as possible so that we can send you a bill and spread the payments for as long as possible.

You can inform us of your move by doing one of the following:

• Report a change of address
• e-mail our Customer Services
• telephone 01228 817200
• or call into the Customer Contact Centre.

Moving Out

We will need some or all of the following information depending upon the circumstances:

• Your name and present address
• The date you are moving
• Your new address
• A daytime telephone number and/or e-mail address
• If the property was owned or rented
• Date of sale
• Name(s) of new resident(s)
• Whether the property is furnished
• Tenancy dates
• Name and address of landlord or agent
• Names of any tenants remaining after you have moved out

Moving in

We will need some or all of the following information depending upon the circumstances:

• Your name and address you are moving to
• The date you are moving
• Your old address
• A daytime telephone number and/or email address
• If the property is owned or rented
• Date of sale
• Number of adults (over 18) in the property
• Whether the property is furnished
• Tenancy dates
• Name and address of landlord or agent

Electoral Registration
