Reminders and Final Notices

We would normally allow you a short period of time after the due date before we send you a reminder.

One the first occasion in the financial year that your account is overdue, you will be sent a reminder. You will have 14 days to pay the instalments that are due.

If you pay the sum requested on the reminder by the due date you can continue to pay the rest of your bill by instalments. If payment is made as requested and on a second occasion an instalment is not paid within 7 days of the due date a Final Notice will be issued canceling your right to discharge your liability by instalments with the full outstanding amount due within 7 days. If no payment is made at reminder stage you will receive a Final Notice canceling your right to discharge your liability by instalments with the full outstanding amount due within 7 days.

Failure to pay any reminder or final notice will lead to the issue of a Magistrates Court summons.
