Key Publications

On the other scrutiny pages, we have provided links so that you can read the agendas, minutes and reports for the regular meetings of the scrutiny committees. On this page we have gathered together some of the key publications for scrutiny.

Perhaps the most important output from the scrutiny committees are the final reports from the subject review work carried out by the committees. Here are all such reports since scrutiny started in 2001:

In addition, some subject review work is carried out jointly by all the local authorities of Cumbria. The only completed review of this sort examined the work of the Cumbria Strategic Waste Partnership. Three reports were produced by this review:

Each year, we also produce an annual report that details the work done during the previous civic year, which runs from May to April.
