The Scrutiny Committees

There are three subject-based committees - Community, Corporate Resources and Infrastructure. The meetings of the committees are public and anyone can attend – they are usually held in the Civic Centre. For each committee detailed below, there is a link to the pages that hold details of the membership of the committee and the dates of meetings, along with the agendas, reports and minutes. There is a separate link to the work programme for each committee - this sets out the work the committee will do during this civic year.

Community Overview and Scrutiny Committee

This Committee covers most issues relating to community matters including housing, licensing, crime and disorder, food, sports and parks.

Corporate Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee

This Committee is responsible for examining the overall strategy and policy of the council, financial issues and internal organisational matters.
