Election Results

The last City Council elections took place on 6th May 2010

Elections were held in the following 18 wards of the City on Thursday, 6th May 2010:

Belah, Belle Vue, Botcherby, Brampton, Castle, Currock, Dalston, Denton Holme, Harraby, Irthing, Longtown & Rockcliffe, Morton, St Aidans, Stanwix Rural, Stanwix Urban, Upperby, Wetheral and Yewdale.

The Parliamentary general election was also held on the same day.

A Cumbria County Council by-election in the Longtown and Bewcastle electoral division was also held on 6th May 2010. 

Elections 2011

The next scheduled City Council elections will be held on 5th May 2011.
