Electrical Work by electricians and DIY persons

For electrical work carried out by other electricians who are not members of an approved self certification body, and do not test and issue Electrical Installation Certificates under BS7671, and DIY persons, it will be necessary to have the installation inspected, tested and certified by a competent electrician, with a copy of the BS 7671 Electrical Installation Certificate being supplied to the Council for validation.
