Licenses for Building Works

There are a number of licences and permits that you will require if carrying out works on the highway. Details of these are listed below. Applications for permits, consents and licences may be downloadable where shown below. Contact details are given where this is not applicable.

Builder's skips

If you wish to place a skip on the highway then you will require a skip licence.   Any skip placed on the highway must conform to a skip specification. If a skip is placed on the highway without a licence, it can be removed. And the owners of the skip may be prosecuted.
