Household waste - rubbish collections

What's New for 2009

• Carlisle City Council's Waste Collection Services are continuing to expand the recycling services provided to residents throughout the district.
• Throughout 2008 we have continued to increase the number of properties included on our recycling schemes.
• The number of properties on our Green Box collections have been increased from 45,938 to 46,047.
• The number of properties covered by the Plastics and Card collections have increased from 38,109 to 41,861.
• Throughout 2009 we will continue to develop our services to cover as many properties as possible with our current resources.
