The 1975
With new single "Chocolate" being Zane Lowe's hottest record in the world, and with them being band no. 2 on XFM's Great X-pectations there's no better time to check these guys out.
"The widely predicted return of guitar bands in 2013 has led to glances towards the 1975 as potential leaders of the pack" - The Guardian
The Manchester four piece come to town for the first time and bring their stadium sized new wave indie with them! Having recently released the incredible 'Sex EP' to a flurry of great reviews and spent most of the year touring with the likes of Little Comets and All The Young this is a band you're going to be hearing a lot more from in 2013.
Their eclectic mix of influences makes them appeal to wide audience from fans of The Xcerts to Palma Violets and Passion Pit to Bastille.
Ages 14+ (ages 14-15 to be accompanied by an adult).

The Skints
Incredible East London Ska and reggae band. They earned their formidable reputation live and the first album has sold more than 7500 copies with zero PR. Their 2nd album in 2012, 'Part & Parcel', mixed Jamaican styles with pop hooks, grimey raps, filthy basslines and a punk rock work ethic to create a sound familiar to newcomers, yet unique below the surface.
"Distancing itself from the ska punk of old, this is instead a modern day dub, reggae and hip hop-inspired classic" ('Part & Parcel' album review) - Rock Sound
Ages 14+ (ages 14-15 to be accompanied by an adult).
