School - Holiday Schemes
What is a Holiday Playscheme?
There are two types of scheme providing play, activities and
outings for children during the school holidays:
- Open Access Schemes - there is no registration process for this
type of scheme, children can come and go as they please throughout
the day.
- Registered Holiday Care - parents are required to fill in a
registration form for their child. Children are not allowed
to leave until collected - obviously the best type of scheme if you
are looking for supervised childcare.

of their Children's
Services.
