Talkin Tarn - Education Cabin

This is where our education programmes, both for children and adults will take place. We will be running environmental education courses for adults on wildlife identification, for example, and day long interactive programmes for schools, with hands-on learning.

The Cabin is available to hire for example for meetings and training sessions.The building is fully accessible and includes two disabled toilets and a hearing loop system.

This building has many energy saving features which include, an air source heat pump which provides hot water for taps and the under floor heating system. Sheep's fleece insulation, intelligent lighting, which only comes on when needed and rainwater harvesting from the roof for flushing the toilets.
